Hello, my name is Marine-Anais 👋
I started Vulva Glow in march 2020 after realising how little I still knew about my own body.
Looking around, I realised that vulvas were -still!- practically invisible in our culture, and that while most people were able to draw a penis, almost nobody could draw an accurate vulva. Me included.
Unfortunately, this lack of knowledge went hand in hand with a set of taboos, prejudice and shame which hurt a large part of the population.
There came the idea to create an instagram channel dedicated to vulvas ; to make vulvas a normal part of our lives, educate as many people as possible on the topic and bring confidence, agency and pride to vulva owners.
The project naturally expanded to include the normalisation of all human bodies and functions and to showcase the work of feminist artists all around the world.
